Meet Got Close
Got Close started somewhere between late night studio sessions, sketchbooks full of ideas, and a shared obsession with beautiful things.
We are a small group of architecture students in Germany who fell in love with design long before we ever thought about fashion. Lines, shapes, proportions, materials, the way something feels, not just how it looks, that is what we were trained to notice. At some point, it just made sense to take that same attention to detail and bring it into a different world.
So we did.
Got Close was born from the idea of merging architecture and fashion. Structure and softness, function and feeling. We wanted to create pieces that are not just cute, even though they definitely are, but also thoughtful, well designed, and made to be part of your everyday life.
Where It All Began
It started as a passion project. No big plan, no perfect roadmap, just creativity, curiosity, and the urge to make something of our own. We began experimenting with handbags, sketching shapes inspired by both vintage silhouettes and early 2000s aesthetics. The kind of pieces that feel nostalgic but still fresh.
At the same time, we were drawn to comfort. Soft textures, cozy forms, pieces you reach for without thinking. Everything we create comes from that same place. A love for design and a desire to make everyday objects a little more special.
Our Design Philosophy

We see every piece as a small design project. Every curve, seam, and proportion is intentional. Our background in architecture taught us that good design is not just visual. It is functional, balanced, and something you experience.

That is why our bags and footwear are made to be both aesthetic and practical. They are playful, feminine, a little nostalgic, inspired by Y2K energy, vintage moods, and that girl club feeling, but they are also designed to actually fit into your life.

Got Close is a mood, a space, a feeling of being part of something soft, creative, and a little bit dreamy. We do not believe in strict categories. We create what feels right. Cute but structured. Soft but intentional. Trendy but timeless in its way.
